Best Minecraft PvP servers to join
PvP servers are all about combat: duels, practice, kit PvP, factions and more.
What makes a good PvP server
- A server region close to you for low ping
- Solid anticheat
- The combat version you prefer (1.8 or modern)
- Ranked queues so you face players at your level
How to find a good PvP server
Ping matters more in PvP than anywhere else, so pick servers with a region near you. Then decide on combat style: 1.8 PvP is fast clicking and movement, modern combat has attack cooldowns and shields. Most PvP servers pick one.
How to join
Java Edition
On Java: open Multiplayer, click Add Server, paste the IP and save, then double-click the server.
Bedrock Edition
On Bedrock: go to Play, then Servers, scroll down to Add Server and enter the IP and port (usually 19132). On consoles you can join the featured servers directly.
Questions
What’s the difference between 1.8 and 1.9+ PvP?
1.8 combat has no attack cooldown, so it’s about clicking speed and movement. 1.9 and later add an attack cooldown and shields.
